I'm SURE this is how you all feel about me :)

A Not So Update, Update

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still around! A few wedding things are happening slowly but right now I am just trying to get through my first week full time student teaching. We are planning to get a few things done this weekend though! Just wanted to say hello :)

5 Month To-Do List

5 months to go! Here's a list of what I feel needs to get done in the next month:
- Finish registering
- Find tux's for the guys to wear (including James)
- Print RSVP cards, RSVP envelopes, anything else needed for invites
- Decide if more decorations are needed
- Order veil
- Order Makenna's Dress

I think that's enough to try and tackle for one month!

It's OFFICIAL!!!

As of this morning at 9:30ish James and Makenna are officially adopted! It took 22 years but I am now a big sister. It's felt like they are ours for a long time but it's nice to say they are official. I thought I would post some remembrance pictures for the occasion.....

James on close to his first day...

Makenna on her first day...

Now more than 2 1/2 years later....

Usually the projects and updates that I post have to do with what I have worked on for the wedding but today is a little different......

No that's not me working on wedding stuff... i'll give you a second to take another look...... YES! That is Andy printing our return addresses onto the envelopes! I know it sounds like a very small task but because the printer we were using isn't the most high tech, it took him hours to finish! First it took us a lot of time to figure out exactly how to center and feed the envelopes, then he had to tape down each one individually and wait for the ink to dry before moving onto the next. It was a HUGE help for me to be able to work on my work sample while wedding stuff was getting done!

My Only Request

Please, please, please do every thing you can to avoid this! I know it's a little easier for all of you because your dresses are halter tops but just try to keep this in mind as the warm weather approaches! :)

Save The Dates!!!

They've been sitting in a box in my closet for many months now and it's finally their time to shine!! Kaitlin and I made these half a year ago during the summer and now I have stuffed, addressed, sealed and stamped all of them and they are ready to head out the door. As long as I can make it to the post office tomorrow (yes, it's snowing again!) they will be in the mail. Let me know when you get yours! One more big thing to check off the list!
